Month Of Chocolate – Chocolate Concrete
This is a super simple recipe that’s tasty and bring back memories of school puddings; chocolate Concrete and Pink Custard! This recipe is easy to make and one the kids can help with.
You will need:
- 200g plain flour
- 200g granulated sugar
- 100g butter
- 50g cocoa powder (not hot chocolate)
To make:
Pre heat the oven to 180c/Gas 4.
In a mixing bowl mix together the flour, sugar and cocoa.
Melt the butter
Mix the melted butter in to the dry ingredients.
Line your tin and add the mixture. Press down with the back of a spoon.
Cook for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before removing from greaseproof.
Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Enjoy on its own or like I did in the 80’s with some pink custard.
